As our homes go through the freeze and thaw cycles, it is important that we take valuable and proactive steps to prevent issues. Due to the tilt of the Earth’s axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come back to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March into early April. As exciting as that can be, so many things need to be done to prepare for the warmer season, including spring cleaning, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors tested, and filters changed.
The activities I do to prepare for warmer weather is getting patio furniture out and making sure everything is clean and ready. I also change filters on all systems. The benefits of prepping for warmer weather are knowing what’s required and what you need to do for the community, so the residents can better enjoy their home.
I will also be making a spring clean budget and sticking to it, so all items are cleaned as needed.
Before you break out the patio furniture and start planting your gardens, you might want to be like the experts at Chestnut Hill Senior Living and get your home ready for a headache-free season.
